musicMagpie.co.uk is a unique fundraising initiative to make money for your Charity by collecting old and unwanted CDs and DVDs. Collecting old CDs and DVDs to raise money for your charity is a totally free fundraising initiative that can deliver results quickly throughout the year.

Here’s how it works:
  • We will pay you cash for any CD or DVD that meet our simple acceptance
        criteria

    How do we go about collecting CDs or DVDs?
    Every Charity has a number of supporters and you can use them to help collect old and unwanted CDs and DVDs. Here are a few tips that will help you collect all those unwanted CDs or DVDs:
  • Email your supporters asking them to collect old CDs and DVDs
  • Put signs up asking for old DVDs and CDs in your own shops or in supporters
        businesses
  • Send us CDs and DVDs that have been donated at your own shops
  • Contact local businesses to see if they will support your campaign
  • Contact local businesses to see if their staff will help and set up central
        collection points
  • Contact your local radio stations to see if they have old CDs they no longer want

    Do we need to register first?
    You don’t have to register with us but it is a good idea. Our service team can give you advice and tips on successful ways to collect CDs & DVDs. You can also download promotional posters and flyers at the bottom of this page. 
    What do you get from it?
    musicMagpie.co.uk is a business that takes old CDs and DVDs and then reconditions them, including removing scratches and replacing packaging. We sell our fully refurbished CDs and DVDs in over 90 countries around the World.

    What do we need to collect
    To receive payment you need to collect old CDs and DVDs that have their original notes and sleeves as well as a bar code on the reverse. Unfortunately we can’t take CDs or DVDs that have been given free in newspapers or magazines as these do not have a barcode.
