music into money - So how did we get started?
We originally launched
musicmagpie as an easy way for everyone to turn
their old CDs into cash so that they did not have
to be thrown away if they had decided to go digital.
This proved to be a massive success with thousands
of people using musicmagpie as a fast and efficient
way to turn CDs into money.

Turning
old games into cash
People were soon
asking us if we could help them get rid of old
games.
We all know what it's like, buy the latest game
and get to level 100, but as soon as you’ve
done it once you don’t want to do it again.
We knew that there were plenty of people who still
wanted to play the games, so we decided to launch
a new independent site, Gamemagpie. Such was it's
success, that it's now become an integral part
of the new www.musicmagpie.co.uk
website.
Old
DVD’s into money – the next step
Many months ago
we started looking at how we could turn old DVDs
into cash for our users. We’d had some very
good feedback about musicmagpie and gamemagpie.
They were simple to use and didn’t have
the same hassle factor of an auction site, and
we wanted to do the same for DVDs. We originally
looked at setting up a new site and then decided
we should integrate turning old DVDs, CDs and
Games into cash, all in one site.
