www.musicmagpie.co.uk,
the UK’s only Cash for
old CDs, DVDs and games website,
has announced the launch of
its Cash for Charities service,
giving charities a quick, easy
and free way to raise additional
funds for activities and projects
carried out within their organisation.
The brand new service, details
of which can be found at www.musicmagpie.co.uk,
lets any registered UK charity
have their CDs and DVDs collected
in bulk, giving them an agreed
flat fee for every qualifying
CD or DVD and providing not-for-profit
organisations a guaranteed way
of making some extra cash.
The
new initiative comes following
a number of requests from
charities asking for a quick
and easy way for them to benefit
from the online recycling
service to help them raise
additional funds.
Steve
Oliver, Managing Director
for Musicmagpie.co.uk said:
“CDs and DVDs donated
to charity shops sometimes
sit there for months before
they get bought, making the
charity no money. With the
Cash for Charities service
charities can get in touch
with Musicmagpie to get the
CDs and DVDs collected and
recycled in bulk, meaning
they can cash-in on a large
amount of stock in one go
without having to wait for
them to sell individually.
“Furthermore,
with the collection and recycling
service being free, the new
Cash for Charities service
is a completely hassle-free
way for charities to raise
funds quickly. Over the next
twelve months we hope to be
able to help raise over £1
million for charities throughout
the UK.”
