What’s more it’s totally FREE to take part.
Here’s how it works:
  • Once you have collected over 100 CDs or DVDs give our team a call on 0870 495 1283
  • We will arrange a FREE courier collection at a time and place to suit you
  • We will send you your cheque within 7 days
How do we go about collecting CDs or DVDs?
Every school is different but here are a few tips that will help you collect all those unwanted CDs or DVDs:

  • Send a letter home to every parent
  • Tell everyone about the campaign in your school newsletter
  • Include it on your school web site
  • Put posters up around the school
  • Contact local businesses to see if their staff will help
Do we need to register first?
You don’t have to register with us but it is a good idea. Our service team can give you some advice on how best to collect CDs or DVDs and also provide you with promotional posters and flyers. Give them a ring on 0870 495 1283.

What do you get from it?
Musicmagpie.co.uk is a business that takes old CDs and DVDs and then reconditions them, including removing scratches and replacing packaging. We sell our fully refurbished CDs and DVDs in over 90 countries around the World.
What do we need to collect
To receive payment you need to collect old CDs and DVDs that have their original notes and sleeves as well as a bar code on the reverse. Unfortunately we can’t take CDs or DVDs that have been given free in newspapers or magazines as these do not have a barcode. Also we only take CD albums, not singles.

To find out more call us on 0870 495 1283 or email schools [at] musicmagpie.co.uk.
