Transaction Times Guide
The following is offered as a guide only, for the timescale that the transaction will take to complete. These timescales are subject to variances during busy periods.
It can take 7-10 days for your items to reach us using our Free Courier Service or using our FREE Send Service.
We will then check your items against your order and ALL your items will go through our Quality Assessment Process as quickly as possible. At busy times this can take up to 7 working days to complete. During exceptionally busy times or under exceptional circumstances payment can take up to 30 days from the day your items pass through our Quality Assessment process.
Once all your items have passed Quality Assessment and your order is completed, payments will be processed as follows:
Cheques are dispatched via Business Post within 3 days of the completion of the Quality Assessment Process. Business Post can take up to 7 working days to deliver items and we will post your cheque to the address you entered into our website on registration. musicMagpie takes no responsibility for delays in receipt of payment due either to Business Post or incorrect/insufficient address details being entered onto the system by you.
Bank transfers are processed for payment in batches. Once you have verified your bank details these are passed to our payment system. We will keep you up to date via automated emails and through your account. Please note that it can take up 7 working days to upload your details to our payment system and then we will notify you once payment has been made. When the funds are cleared and available to you in your bank account can vary depending on which organisation/bank your account is held with. BACs transfers typically take 3-5 days to clear.
If you have chosen to donate your items to one of our chosen charities, once your items have passed through our Quality Assessment Process we will email you to inform you of the total amount we will be paying to the charity partner you have selected on our website and pay them in accordance with our agreement with that charitable partner.
Please note that we will regularly communicate with you by email regarding the progress and status of each order or users may log onto their account and look into the order history for updates.
