Previously known as “The Millennium Dome”, The 02 was once seen huge waste of money with public funds used to construct a semi permanent building that would not stand the test of time.  In more recent years the venue has been greatly improved and has become one of the UK’s premier Arena destinations with seating for over 20,000 people as well as shops and restaurants to cater for all tastes.

Located close to North Greenwich Tube on the Jubilee line, The 02 is easy to get to from Central London and can also be accessed by water taxi, bus, or if you really want to you, by car as there is plenty of parking around the venue.

From great music to ballroom dancing The 02 has already hosted some of the world’s most famous acts including Lady GaGa, Madonna, Britney Spears and was to be the location where Michael Jackson staged his comeback tour.

Since construction The 02 has featured in a number of films including the opening title sequence of the 1999 James Bond film The World is Not Enough.

If you are looking for a great way to pay for tickets next time you visit The 02 remember to use www.musicmagpie.co.uk to turn your old CDs, DVDs and Games into cash.
