That might sound a bit risky, but LastPass is password-protected too ”“ it’s the last password you’ll ever have to remember, hence the name LastPass.

Why is it surprisingly easy?

As well as helping you to remember the 265 million passwords you currently store somewhere in your head, LastPass also encourages you to improve your online security by setting up different passwords for every account. This is especially important after the ”˜two weeks to cyber-password-apocalypse’ news story that did the rounds earlier this year.

The best bit

LastPass is very easy to set up; all you have to do is log-in to your favourite sites and LastPass will do the rest. It also syncs across various devices, so you can access any passwords you saved on your phone on your PC and vice versa.

You don’t even have to open LastPass to fill out your passwords, as it’ll fill your log-ins for you. All you have to do is enter your LastPass master password.

The downside

You’re in a bit of a pickle if someone discovers what your master password is. It doesn’t automatically locate your passwords when you’re setting it up either, so you’ll need to reset any you’ve forgotten before adding it to LastPass. But hey, at least you won’t forget it again.

Download LastPass on iOS | Download LastPass on Android

Every Wednesday, we bring you an app that’ll make your life easier.
