Endless sunshine (if you\u2019re lucky), quality time with your family (when you\u2019re not arguing) and pure relaxation (when you\u2019re not getting stressed out over checking-in, catching transfers and trying to sort out excursions); they really cannot be beaten.<\/p>\n<p>But occasionally, sitting by the pool all day can get, well&#8230;a little bit boring. Fortunately, the tech giants of the world created tablets, little devices that let us watch movies wherever we want.<\/p>\n<p>So, you\u2019ve got your tablet; what are you going to watch? You don\u2019t want a complex dark thriller casting a shadow over your jollies, but you don\u2019t want to watch a load of old cheerful rubbish either. Here are a couple of suggestions&#8230;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Forgetting Sarah Marshall<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PyVEHIO6jZ0\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nThis easy-going romcom from Jason Segel sees an unfortunate TV music composer travel to Hawaii shortly after breaking up from his TV star girlfriend for a relaxing break. Unfortunately, his ex had the same idea \u201d\u201c and she\u2019s brought along her new boyfriend, English rocker Aldous Snow (played very convincingly by Russell Brand).<\/p>\n<p>Alright, so it\u2019s not the most relaxing of plots but the picturesque Haiwaiian setting will help keep you in the holiday mood. Plus, it\u2019s very, very funny.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>The Inbetweeners Movie<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/V3HzTKbsqsY\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nEveryone\u2019s favourite teenage misfits travel to Malia for sun, sea and&#8230;well, about as much sex as they get in the TV series.<\/p>\n<p>The film was actually shot in Magaluf, but don\u2019t let that put you off; between the scenes of hilarious debauchery and toe-curling cringe are some lovely beach shots. It\u2019ll put you in the mood to go out and party too. You might even get the chance to break out the famous dance (don\u2019t. Please don\u2019t).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>The Beach<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SoygPJevn-Q\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nDanny Boyle\u2019s thriller about a mysterious tropical paradise probably isn\u2019t the easiest of films to get into, with various weird plots and incidents making it a little bit like a feature length episode of <i>Lost<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>That said, <i>The Beach<\/i> has far more style than substance and looks absolutely amazing. It\u2019s more or less a nice beach screensaver to watch while you\u2019re waiting for everyone to get ready for your next trip to your own beach paradise (which hopefully isn\u2019t as weird as the one in this film).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>The Big Lebowski<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GZR58d77a4A\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nNo character in history is as chilled as \u201d\u02dcThe Dude\u2019, the middle-aged bowling-obsessed slacker at the centre of <i>The Big Lebowski<\/i>. Even when he\u2019s embroiled in the centre of a criminal conspiracy, he still breezes about, day-dreaming of bowling and a nice White Russian.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, we can all learn something about relaxation from the Dude; he even has his own religion, \u201d\u02dcDudeism\u2019, which is dedicated to taking it easy.<b><\/b><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Office Space<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_IwzZYRejZQ\" height=\"315\" width=\"420\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nYou\u2019re away from the office, so why would you want to watch a movie about one (especially one as terrible as <i>Office Space\u2019s<\/i> cubicle-nightmare)? It\u2019s obvious: to feel smug about the fact you\u2019re not at work and laugh at the misfortune of those who aren\u2019t. \u00a0Kick back, sip a cocktail and enjoy.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Point Break<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UuVDrpl1tIY\" height=\"315\" width=\"420\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nSurfing FBI agents. Need we say anymore?<\/p>\n<p>It might even give you the confidence to carve some waves yourself. Radical!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Jaws<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/jaws.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1356\" alt=\"Jaws\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/jaws.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"490\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/jaws.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/jaws-300x183.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Maybe not, on second thoughts.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Got any holiday movie suggestions?
