Hooray!<\/p>\n<p>The inspiring story of <i>Sin City: A Dame To Kill For<\/i> has given us hope that some other sequels we\u2019d like to see made will eventually be released too. Here\u2019s our wishlist.<\/p>\n<p><i>BEWARE: There are spoilers ahead!<\/i><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>The Thing<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/the-thing-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1614\" alt=\"the-thing-2\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/the-thing-2.jpg\" width=\"830\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/the-thing-2.jpg 830w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/the-thing-2-300x162.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 830px) 100vw, 830px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><i>The Thing<\/i> ended on a fairly downbeat note, with Kurt Russell sitting in the Antarctic snow possibly infected by an extraterrestrial beast.<\/p>\n<p>But what happened next? Surely the alien didn\u2019t just sit in the least-populated continent on Earth twiddling its tentacles?<\/p>\n<p>Given Hollywood\u2019s love of a good apocalypse movie, the sequel could transport the Thing to New York; imagine the paranoia of the first film, but with everyone in the world suspecting their neighbour was actually the thing. It\u2019d be brilliant!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Vampire\u2019s Kiss<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kfcJUl39iiA\" height=\"315\" width=\"420\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Until a few years ago, <i>Vampire\u2019s Kiss<\/i> was a little-known Nicolas Cage film that couldn\u2019t even claim to have a cult following.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, the internet (and it&#8217;s amazing ability to seek out obscure sources of ridiculousness)\u00a0introduced a whole new audience to <i>Vampire\u2019s Kiss<\/i>, which is essentially 90 minutes of Cage going berserk as he starts believing he\u2019s a vampire. Needless to say, it\u2019s hilarious.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve no idea how a sequel would work, but that doesn\u2019t matter: just stick Nic in a room, tell him he\u2019s a vampire, and watch the magic happen.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Inception<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inception.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1615\" alt=\"Inception\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inception.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inception.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/inception-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><i>Inception <\/i>was a fantastic self-contained tale that most would argue doesn\u2019t need a sequel. And we\u2019d agree, for the most part.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s just&#8230;well, that spinning top at the end. Does it fall or does it keep spinning? We\u2019ve read so many different theories online that it\u2019d be nice if Christopher Nolan could answer the question once and for all.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Every Tarantino Movie Ever<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/QT.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1616\" alt=\"QT\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/QT.png\" width=\"732\" height=\"399\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/QT.png 732w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/QT-300x163.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 732px) 100vw, 732px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Every single movie made by Quentin Tarantino exists in the same fictional universe, with the characters all inhabiting the same \u201d\u02dcworld\u2019. Some of them are even related, such as <i>Pulp Fiction\u2019s <\/i>Vincent Vega and <i>Reservoir Dog\u2019s <\/i>Mr. Blonde.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, we\u2019d like to see a movie where every single Tarantino characters meets, exchanges witty dialogue and then engages in lots of violence. The survivors could then share a Big Kahuna Burger (with a tasty beverage to wash it down).<\/p>\n<p>It might be a bit of stretch, as most of QT\u2019s characters are dead. But hey, maybe that suitcase in Pulp Fiction was a time machine?<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Prometheus<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/prometheus2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1619\" alt=\"Prometheus\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/prometheus2.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/prometheus2.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/prometheus2-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Whatever you thought of <i>Prometheus<\/i>, the ending left a lot of unanswered questions that demand a sequel. It\u2019d also be a good chance to improve on some of the flaws of the original, which might explain why Ridley Scott is apparently working on it right now. <i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Prometheus is one of our top traded DVDs at the moment! <a title=\"The Top 10 Traded DVDs\" href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/2014\/08\/20\/the-top-10-traded-dvds-2\/\">Check out this post to see the rest of the chart<\/a>. <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Shaun of the Dead<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/shaun.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1620\" alt=\"Shaun\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/shaun.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/shaun.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/shaun-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><i>Shaun of the Dead<\/i> ended on a high note, with Shaun getting the girl and surviving an onslaught of rabid brainmunchers.<\/p>\n<p>There was one sour moment, however; Shaun\u2019s best mate, Ed, turned into a zombie and now lives chained up in his shed. The film also reveals that other zombies are being put to work by humans.<\/p>\n<p>A new, semi-intelligent species being oppressed by humans, most of whom died from a horrible virus? We smell a <i>Planet of the Apes<\/i>-like uprising&#8230;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>This is Spinal Tap<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/this-is-spinal-tap.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1621\" alt=\"This is Spinal Tap\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/this-is-spinal-tap.jpeg\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/this-is-spinal-tap.jpeg 800w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/this-is-spinal-tap-300x168.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><i>This is Spinal Tap<\/i> was a perfect pastiche of the rock n\u2019 roll lifestyle practised by bands like The Rolling Stones<i>,<\/i> but we can\u2019t imagine the <i>Tap<\/i> of today are still behaving badly. We\u2019d love to see what they are up to though, as it\u2019d be a perfect opportunity to parody the current touring exploits of the Stones.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Which films would you like to see get a sequel?
