While the Xbox One and the PS4 have been selling by the bucketload, the Wii U has been&#8230;well, largely ignored.<\/p>\n<p>That could be about to change, however. <i>Super Smash Bros<\/i>, a game in which Nintendo\u2019s best characters beat each other up in all kinds of colourful arenas, comes out in a couple of months (December 3rd, to be exact &#8211; although you can play the 3DS version right now) and it looks so good that we\u2019re half tempted to go out and buy a Wii U for ourselves.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not the only reason to think about investing in Nintendo\u2019s newest console either&#8230;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Bayonetta 2<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/bayonetta-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2082\" alt=\"Bayonetta 2\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/bayonetta-2.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/bayonetta-2.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/bayonetta-2-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>Bayonetta 2<\/i> is released on Wii U at the end of this month and it promises to be amazing. The first game is widely considered to be one of the best games ever, combining the fast-paced combat of <i>Devil May Cry<\/i> with a unique visual style and plot.<\/p>\n<p>But hang on: wasn\u2019t <i>Bayonetta<\/i> released on Xbox 360 and PS3? Well, yes it was. But <i>Bayonetta 2<\/i> is a Wii U exclusive, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/articles\/2013-12-12-bayonetta-2-producer-moans-of-pedantic-port-begging-from-fans\">looks set to stay that way too<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>The GamePad<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/wii-u.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1164\" alt=\"Wii U\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/wii-u.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"373\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/wii-u.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/wii-u-300x139.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a>Forget your standard plastic-and-buttons controllers: Wii U comes with its very own mini tablet!<\/p>\n<p>The GamePad is like a standard controller with a touchscreen in the middle, which you can use as a second screen to view maps, manage inventories or even get an alternate angle on action.<\/p>\n<p>Best of all, though, you can stream games from your Wii U to the GamePad, meaning that you can play even if someone else is watching the TV. Top games include <i>The Legend of Zelda, Castlevania<\/i> and <i>Metroid<\/i>.
