Didn\u2019t that go out of fashion ages ago?<\/p>\n<p>Apparently not: <i>Pok\u00c3\u00a9mon Omega Ruby <\/i>and <i>Alpha Sapphire<\/i>, two new remakes of 2002\u2019s <i>Pok\u00c3\u00a9mon Ruby <\/i>and <i>Sapphire, <\/i>provided <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eurogamer.net\/articles\/2014-12-01-omega-ruby-and-alpha-sapphire-uks-biggest-pokemon-launch-everhttps:\/www.eurogamer.net\/articles\/2014-12-01-omega-ruby-and-alpha-sapphire-uks-biggest-pokemon-launch-ever\">the series with its biggest ever launch in the UK<\/a>. Demand is high, so we\u2019d recommend snapping this up as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<h4>Skylanders: Trap Team<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dolF_raxkow\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><i>Skylanders <\/i>has become a <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.ign.com\/articles\/2014\/02\/07\/skylanders-in-top-20-game-franchises-ever-175-million-toys-sold.\">bona-fide gaming sensation<\/a>, enthralling kids around the globe.<\/p>\n<p>The secret to the game\u2019s success is that players unlock characters by buying little figurines (sold separately, of course). These figures are placed on the \u201d\u02dcPortal of Power\u2019 (a kind of stand), after which they can be used in the game (which is a platformer similar to <i>Super Mario World 3D<\/i>).<\/p>\n<p>The game was previously a console exclusive, but a standalone version that can be played on tablets has been released just in time for Christmas.
