Explosions! Flying band members! Muse\u2019s live show is every bit as ridiculous as their live albums, with Matt Bellamy strutting around like an alien-obsessed Freddie Mercury and over-the-top renditions of their entire back catalogue.<\/p>\n<p>The good news is that Muse should be around for a while yet, and they\u2019ll be touring very soon to support their new record <i>Drones<\/i> (which is out today).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZRXGsPBUV5g\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><b>The Rolling Stones<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>With Mick, Keef and Charlie all in their 70s (Ronnie Wood is a youthful 68), The Rolling Stones probably aren\u2019t going to be touring much longer and who can blame them? They deserve a nice long rest after 50-odd years of rocking.<\/p>\n<p>Despite their advanced years, the Stones still put on a great show and they\u2019ll hopefully nip back home for a few shows once they\u2019ve finished their US tour. Be warned, though: tickets usually go within minutes for wallet-busting prices.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zIklhgI-m2s\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><b>Radiohead<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Radiohead haven\u2019t played any major UK shows since 2012, mainly because they\u2019ve been off doing things like composing soundtracks for films and <a title=\"18 day long songs\" href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/arts-entertainment\/music\/news\/thom-yorke-has-written-a-song-that-is-18-days-long-10275785.html\">writing 18-day long songs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There is a glimmer of hope of seeing Oxford\u2019s finest in the near future, though. They\u2019re <a href=\"https:\/\/consequenceofsound.net\/2015\/02\/radioheads-new-album-coming-along-nicely-band-to-re-enter-studio-in-march\/\">currently making a new album<\/a>, which <i>should <\/i>mean they do a few shows too. Make sure you get to them, because they\u2019re a real experience.<\/p>\n<p>Just <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/music\/musicblog\/2014\/jun\/23\/bands-hate-songs-led-zeppelin-stairway-heaven-radiohead-creep\">don\u2019t request <i>Creep<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mj9AYdsb5Kg\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><b>Daft Punk<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Everyone\u2019s favourite French robotic house duo didn\u2019t even bother touring to support the ridiculously popular <i>Random Access Memories<\/i> (despite the mountain of cash it would have made them), so the chances of seeing them anytime soon seem fairly slim.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a shame, because a Daft Punk show is pretty much like being in a sci-fi movie, except with more sweaty people shouting in your ear and the odd pint spilled down your back.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XjAlHICXBCQ\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><b>The Cure<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Robert Smith and the gang have an uncanny ability to turn even the most sceptical of onlookers into an awe-inspired proto-goth by the end of one of their shows, which can last anywhere up to 4 hours (as once happened in goth capital&#8230;erm, <a href=\"https:\/\/craigjparker.blogspot.co.uk\/2013\/04\/the-cure-plays-mexico-city-tonight.html\">Mexico City<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, The Cure aren\u2019t on tour at the moment and we wouldn\u2019t blame them for fancying an extended rest. Their next tour could be their last!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lgGSjScxwoo\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><b>Kanye West<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>As you\u2019d expect from a bloke who calls himself Yeezus, Kanye\u2019s live shows are overblown, dramatic and have a strong focus on \u201d\u02dcart\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>But forget about all of that: the real highlight is the unpredictable man himself. One night he might play all of his songs as they were originally recorded, the next he might decide to go on <a href=\"https:\/\/consequenceofsound.net\/2014\/07\/kanye-west-showered-with-boos-following-20-minute-rant-in-london\/\">a 20 minute rant about Nike and Louis Vuitton while wearing a disco ball mask<\/a>. We\u2019re hoping for the latter at Glasto.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YBqQO_IhCLc\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><b>Oasis<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Your chances of seeing Oasis in this lifetime hinge on Liam and Noel putting their differences aside and reuniting. Given how boneheaded they both are, the odd are pretty slim. We\u2019re not even sure if <a title=\"The Surprisingly Easy Guide to Reuniting the World\u2019s Greatest Bands\" href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/2014\/07\/08\/the-surprisingly-easy-guide-to-reuniting-the-worlds-greatest-bands\/\">our idea for getting them back together would work<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If Oasis <i>do <\/i>reunite, though, it\u2019s guaranteed to be a booze-soaked celebration with people who should know better partying like it\u2019s 1994. Oh, and it\u2019ll be <i>really really <\/i>hard to get a ticket.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/98RYXRN8GTM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><b>Rammstein <\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The German industrial metal legends are renowned for nearly exploding pretty much every venue they\u2019ve played with pyrotechnics, as well their occasional usage of&#8230;erm, \u201d\u02dcadult toys\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ultimate-guitar.com\/news\/general_music_news\/rammstein_were_taking_time_off.html\">they\u2019re currently on a hiatus with no sign of them ever coming back<\/a>. If they ever do get back together, make sure you get tickets &#8211; but stand away from the front, unless you want burnt eyebrows.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rmfmdKOLzVI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><b>Beyonce<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Queen B doesn\u2019t offer the pyrotechnics of Rammstein or the hilarious ranting abilities of Kanye West, but she amazes in a different way: her voice. Unlike a lot of artists, Beyonce is more or less note perfect every gig she plays. She pulls a mean rocking out face too, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/3am\/celebrity-news\/beyonce-faces-super-bowl-pictures-3097750\">she showed at the Superbowl a couple of years ago<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8de2W3rtZsA\" width=\"420\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><b>Rage Against the Machine<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Although the rock-rap revolutionaries and arch enemies of Joe McElderry haven\u2019t played a show since 2011, they\u2019re still kind of active. According to bassist Tim Commerford, their next gig could be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.musicradar.com\/news\/tech\/tim-commerford-talks-electronic-music-and-his-new-band-future-user-616147\/4\">\u201d\u02dctomorrow\u2019 or in \u201d\u02dc10 years\u2019 time\u2019<\/a>. Be there when it happens!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sS_dJCfVYFY\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><b>Nine Inch Nails<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Trent Reznor\u2019s a busy chap these days: when he\u2019s not winning Oscars for his soundtrack work, he\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/news\/apple-beats-plan-paid-streaming-music-service-20150326\">helping Apple take over the music industry<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He still finds time to take Nine Inch Nails out on tour and it\u2019s well worth getting a ticket if they play near you, if only for the trademark haunting performance of <i>Hurt<\/i> at the end.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WyqnauwmGz4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><b>Iron Maiden<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The heavy metal legends have been touring hard for the past 30 years, although they\u2019re currently taking a few months off while singer, pilot and all-around action man Bruce Dickinson recovers from cancer. Like the Stones, Maiden are getting on a bit and might fancy retiring back to their beloved East London for a few pints soon &#8211; catch them while they\u2019re still going!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Which bands would you add to our list?
