Mount has described <em>Summer 08 <\/em>as an \u201cupbeat record\u201d\u009d and claimed it was \u201cthe most fun thing I\u2019ve done in a long time\u201d\u009d in an interview with Radio One\u2019s Annie Mac.<\/p>\n<p>The first single from <em>Summer 08<\/em>, the disco-esque <em>Old Skool<\/em>, has gone down a storm with critics and fans alike, with Annie Mac naming it her Hottest Record in the World back in May. Metronomy enlisted some prestigious help for the record too, with Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys contributing a suitably retro scratch break.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of <em>Summer 08 <\/em>promises to be every bit as fun and danceable as <em>Old Skool<\/em>.
