Pok\u00c3\u00a9mon Go has finally launched in the UK, with Brits of all ages whipping out their phones and hunting for Pikachu and pals like it’s 2000 all over again.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re not familiar with Pok\u00c3\u00a9mon Go (welcome back to Earth!), it\u2019s an \u201d\u02dcaugmented reality\u2019 game in which Pok\u00c3\u00a9mon appear through the lens of your phone\u2019s camera as if they were really there. When you find one, you have to catch it using a virtual Pok\u00c3\u00a9ball. The overall goal is to catch \u201d\u02dcem all.<\/p>\n

With so many Pok\u00c3\u00a9mon to find, catching them all is proving difficult for many. And in times of difficulty, there\u2019s only one place to turn: Google.<\/p>\n

Brits have been frantically searching for Pok\u00c3\u00a9mon in their cities, so we decided to find out which Pok\u00c3\u00a9mon each city has been searching for most. We took phrases like \u201d\u02dcwhere is…\u2019 and \u201d\u02dchow to find…\u2019 and matched them up with all of the Pok\u00c3\u00a9mon, then measured the volume of searches in cities across the country.<\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly, Pikachu is the UK\u2019s most wanted Pok\u00c3\u00a9mon, with Cardiff, Sheffield and Nottingham all hunting for everyone\u2019s favourite yellow electric critter.<\/p>\n

In second place is Mewtwo, the main target in Leeds and Nottingham. Apart from that, every city is hunting for something different: Manchester wants Onix, London wants Zapdos and Birmingham wants Ditto. Maybe we could all meet up and tell each other where to find these elusive Pok\u00c3\u00a9mon?<\/p>\n
