You\u2019re welcome.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Red Dead Redemption<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/red-dead-redemption.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6739\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/red-dead-redemption.jpg\" alt=\"Red Dead Redemption\" width=\"317\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/red-dead-redemption.jpg 317w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/red-dead-redemption-212x300.jpg 212w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 317px) 100vw, 317px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Come on. We don\u2019t have to tell you why this is good. And you know you want to play it again before the sequel next year&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>If you are one of the few people who hasn\u2019t played <em>Red Dead Redemption <\/em>yet, imagine <em>Grand Theft Auto <\/em>but set in the Wild West and starring outlaws and corrupt lawmen instead of gangsters. That description still doesn\u2019t do justice to the sheer scope of <em>RDR, <\/em>though. Do yourself a favour and play it.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a title=\"Red Dead Redemption\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/store\/products\/red-dead-redemption-game-of-the-year-e\"><strong>Buy\u00a0<em>Red Dead Redemption\u00a0<\/em>on the musicMagpie Store<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Beyond Good &amp; Evil HD<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Platformers are usually about cutesy characters running around, squishing baddies and collecting some form of currency (coins, rings, etc), rather than conspiracies and the philosophy of Nietzsche.<\/p>\n<p><em>Beyond Good &amp; Evil <\/em>follows photojournalist Jade and her pig uncle (he is literally a pig) as they uncover a vast conspiracy on a distant mining planet through the medium of solving puzzles, doing karate and driving a hovercraft. It\u2019s a bit like a grown up <em>Mario 64<\/em>, and every bit as brilliant as that sounds.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, almost nobody bothered with <em>Beyond Good &amp; Evil <\/em>when it came out. Its reputation has grown a lot since then though, to the extent that Ubisoft are now working on a sequel.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Dark Souls<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Anyone who complains that games are too easy these days clearly hasn\u2019t played <em>Dark Souls<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>This game is tougher than Conor McGregor eating a brutally well-done steak, throwing you into a world where literally anything can kill you in a couple of hits and giving you no clues where to go or what to do.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, you wander around getting your behind kicked by a series of ridiculously tough enemies until the words <strong>You Died <\/strong>are burned into your retinas.<\/p>\n<p>But then, slowly but surely, you get better. You kill a few enemies and, eventually, after like a million tries, kill a boss too. You feel an overwhelming sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>Then you get killed again.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Fable II<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/fable-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6740\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/fable-2.jpg\" alt=\"Fable 2\" width=\"320\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/fable-2.jpg 320w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/fable-2-214x300.jpg 214w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If getting murdered endlessly isn\u2019t your thing, <em>Fable II <\/em>may be more up your alley. This hilarious RPG is much more light-hearted than <em>Dark Souls <\/em>but just as fun, with a huge world to explore and the freedom to make your character a paragon of virtue or the very embodiment of evil (complete with horns and stink lines).<\/p>\n<p><em>Fable II <\/em>is wonderfully easy to play too, with rewarding combat and a character upgrade system that doesn\u2019t require a degree in <em>Dungeons and Dragons <\/em>studies to understand.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Fable II\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/store\/products\/lionheadfableii\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Buy\u00a0<em>Fable II\u00a0<\/em>on the musicMagpie Store<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Fallout: New Vegas<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/fallout-new-vegas.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6741\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/fallout-new-vegas.jpg\" alt=\"Fallout New Vegas\" width=\"318\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/fallout-new-vegas.jpg 318w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/fallout-new-vegas-213x300.jpg 213w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 318px) 100vw, 318px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Fallout 4 <\/em>wasn\u2019t everyone\u2019s cup of radiation-coloured tea, with some criticising its lack of hardcore RPG elements.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re one of them, you\u2019ll be pleased to know that you can still play the hugely in-depth and (whisper it) slightly better <em>New Vegas <\/em>on the Xbox One.<\/p>\n<p>Set in a post-apocalyptic Nevada, <em>New Vegas <\/em>tasks you with finding out who tried to kill you while taking part in a multi-faction war and blasting the living daylights out of radscorpions and Super Mutants.<\/p>\n<p>Post-apocalyptic RPGs don\u2019t get much better than this.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Halo: Reach<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/halo-reach.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6742\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/halo-reach.jpg\" alt=\"Halo Reach\" width=\"322\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/halo-reach.jpg 322w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/halo-reach-216x300.jpg 216w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 322px) 100vw, 322px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Like the <em>Bourne <\/em>movie that Matt Damon isn\u2019t in, <em>Reach <\/em>is the black sheep of the <em>Halo <\/em>family mainly because it\u2019s missing the series\u2019 main star.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a shame, because <em>Reach <\/em>has arguably the best campaign of the series. It follows a group of Spartans protecting the planet Reach from a Covenant attack, with thrilling, sad and touching consequences.<\/p>\n<p>Gameplay-wise, it\u2019s easily on par with the best games in the series too. If you haven\u2019t played it yet, you\u2019re missing out.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a title=\"Halo Reach\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/store\/products\/halo-reach\"><strong>Buy Halo: Reach on the musicMagpie Store<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Left 4 Dead<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/left-4-dead.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6743\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/left-4-dead.jpg\" alt=\"Left 4 Dead\" width=\"323\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/left-4-dead.jpg 323w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/left-4-dead-216x300.jpg 216w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 323px) 100vw, 323px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The premise of <em>Left 4 Dead\u00a0<\/em>is simple but effective: you\u2019re a survivor in the midst of a zombie apocalypse, and you need to get somewhere that happens to be blocked off by a raging horde of brain eaters.<\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s about it. But this is more than just a mindless zombie killing fest. The stages in <em>Left 4 Dead\u00a0<\/em>are so well-designed that a simple \u201d\u02dcrun here and shoot stuff along the way\u2019 mission becomes a tense, epic struggle, while Horde mode is capable of creating the kind of tales you\u2019ll talk about with your friends for years.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a title=\"Left 4 Dead\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/store\/category\/?keyword=left%20for%20dead\"><strong>Buy\u00a0<em>Left 4 Dead\u00a0<\/em>on the musicMagpie Store<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>The Mass Effect Trilogy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/mass-effect.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6744\" src=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/mass-effect.jpg\" alt=\"Mass Effect\" width=\"357\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/mass-effect.jpg 357w, https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/mass-effect-214x300.jpg 214w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 357px) 100vw, 357px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>With most games set in space, you\u2019re either a) too busy shooting aliens to really care about the universe around you or b) confined to a couple of planets.<\/p>\n<p><em>Mass Effect<\/em>, by comparison, takes place in a universe with a history as rich as<em> Star Wars <\/em>and a story as compelling as anything <em>Star Trek <\/em>has offered over the years.<\/p>\n<p>You also get the freedom to play the game as you see fit, with different decisions affecting the overall plot, with a healthy dollop of <em>Gears of War <\/em>style gunplay added for good measure.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a title=\"Mass Effect\" href=\"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/store\/products\/mass-effect-limited-edition-xbox-360\"><strong>Buy\u00a0<em>Mass Effect\u00a0<\/em>on the musicMagpie Store<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Skate 3<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Ever dreamed of busting out sick tricks on a skateboard without the risk of falling over and giving yourself an owie?<\/p>\n<p><em>Skate 3<\/em>\u2019s got you covered. With its innovative analog stick control system, it\u2019s the closest you\u2019ll get to becoming a pro skateboarder without spending hours practising and breaking a few bones.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, you can use <em>Skate 3<\/em>\u2019s insane ragdoll physics to create your own episode of <em>Jackass<\/em>.
