{"id":8064,"date":"2017-10-23T18:46:49","date_gmt":"2017-10-23T17:46:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/?p=8064"},"modified":"2017-10-23T18:46:49","modified_gmt":"2017-10-23T17:46:49","slug":"terminator-6-to-start-filming-in-march-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.musicmagpie.co.uk\/blog\/2017\/10\/23\/terminator-6-to-start-filming-in-march-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Terminator 6 to start filming in March 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest instalment in the <em>Terminator<\/em> franchise is slated for a July 2019 release, with filming to begin in March next year.<\/p>\n<p>Director of the original <em>Terminator<\/em> film, James Cameron has signed on to produce <em>Terminator 6<\/em>, which will be a direct sequel for <em>Terminator 2: Judgment Day<\/em>. <em>Deadpool<\/em>\u2019s Tim Miller is to direct the currently untitled project.<\/p>\n<p>Filming will be taking place in the likes of Budapest, Hungary and Spain; and Sonja Klaus will doing the production design. Klaus has previously worked on Ridley Scott\u2019s <em>Prometheus<\/em>. <em>A Good Year<\/em> and <em>Robin Hood<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Expect to see Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton back in their old roles, but alongside a younger cast. Robert Patrick may be returning, if the story allows it.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re expecting a better response to the next Terminator film if the Cameron-Miller dream team will be creating it, as the last film wasn\u2019t well received. Critics felt <em>Terminator: Genisys<\/em> was unremarkable, convoluted and lacking in originality.
