We\u2019ve picked out the best of what 2017 has had to offer!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DzfpyUB60YY\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Get Out<\/h3>\n<p>Jordan Peele\u2019s directorial debut got people talking early this year, with rave reviews coming in for <em>Get Out<\/em>. Although made on a \u00a33.37 million budget, <em>Get Out<\/em> took in over \u00a3190 million worldwide. The story looks at the interracial relationship between Rose and Chris \u201d\u201c Chris is black, Rose is white. When Chris meets Rose\u2019s family, he can\u2019t help but notice the black servants don\u2019t act normally; and even look familiar. It\u2019s been nominated for Best Motion Picture \u201d\u201c Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes; and Daniel Kaluuya\u2019s portrayal of Chris is nominated for Best Actor \u201d\u201c Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/F-eMt3SrfFU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Dunkirk<\/h3>\n<p>Christopher Nolan recruited an all-star cast for his depiction of Dunkirk in World War II. Actors in the film included Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Kenneth Brannagh and Harry Styles in one of the most beautifully filmed movies of the year. <em>Dunkirk<\/em> took in more than \u00a3393 million at the box office \u201d\u201c staggering when compared to the \u00a374.6 million budget. The movie has been praised for the realistic representation of the historical events and is believed to be one of Nolan\u2019s best works.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EsozpEE543w\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">T2 Trainspotting<\/h3>\n<p>Following up a cult classic 20 years later is a bold move by any director\u2019s standards. But Danny Boyle was ready for the challenge, and knocked it out of the park with the <em>Trainspotting<\/em> sequel. Boyle brought back Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller, Ewen Bremner and Robert Carlyle to reprise the roles of Renton, Spud, Sick Boy and Begbie. <em>T2 Trainspotting<\/em> takes place 20 years on from the infamous drug deal, and there\u2019s no love lost between Sick Boy and Renton. As far as sequels go, this one is outstanding, taking in more than \u00a329 million in the box office.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1Q8fG0TtVAY\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Wonder Woman<\/h3>\n<p>The DC Comics movie broke records for all the right reasons with <em>Wonder Woman <\/em>this summer. Patty Jenkins became the first female director of a live-action, theatrically released comic book superhero film; telling the tale of Wonder Woman through lead Gal Gadot. Princess Diana \u201d\u201c or Wonder Woman to you and I \u201d\u201c leaves home to end the conflict of the World War. Taking in \u00a3615.6 million at the box office, it\u2019s one of the highest-grossing films of the year, and the fifth highest-grossing superhero film domestically. The sequel is due for release in 2019.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xKJmEC5ieOk\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">It<\/h3>\n<p>Stephen King\u2019s terrifying creation Pennywise came to life this year, in smash-hit horror <em>It<\/em>. Pennywise the Clown terrorises children in the small town of Derry, awakening every 27 years. Bill Skarsg\u00c3\u00a5rd\u2019s take on the clown will send a shiver down your spine, and leave you with nightmares. It\u2019s the highest-grossing horror film, and one of the highest-grossing of the year with \u00a3523.1 million at the box office.
