It is a key event for gamers as big releases are often announced or teased by the likes of Nintendo, Microsoft or Sony.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s event was packed full of huge news regarding the gaming industry! From what we\u2019ve learnt, we\u2019re in for a real treat in 2019. We looked at the biggest stories that broke at E3.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Microsoft<\/h3>\n<p>Arguably, Microsoft had the busiest briefing at E3. They had game announcements coming out of their ears! So, if you\u2019re an Xbox user, there is a plethora of amazing content coming your way in the near future.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VmQNo8xtcAg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>50 games in total coming your way<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That includes 18 Xbox exclusives and 15 world premieres. Microsoft\u2019s Head of Xbox Phil Spencer took to the stage at E3 to ensure the audience knew his company have been listening to feedback carefully so confidence can be restored in the brand. The announcement included <em>Forza Horizon 4<\/em>, <em>Dying Light 2<\/em> and a new <em>Gears of War<\/em> game.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Fmdb-KmlzD8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Halo Infinite<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Halo series is widely considered to be some of the best first-person shooter games of all time. It all began with <em>Halo: Combat Evolved<\/em> in 2001 and the latest instalment was announced at E3. <em>Halo Infinite<\/em> is coming to Xbox, but we are yet to find out a release date.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vPrbNmBIoPw\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skate 4?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Not quite. <em>Session<\/em> was announced, a skate game that looks to fall in line with the <em>Skate<\/em> series. This one divided opinion \u201d\u201c people really want the next <em>Skate<\/em>!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GSpkM3-A6ys\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>New console incoming<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Phil Spencer was open about the fact development has already begun on the next Microsoft consoles. Yep, you read that right, there is likely to be more than one. So far, that\u2019s about all we know \u201d\u201c no date has been given, but with development underway, the consoles may be available sooner rather than later. There are only whispers at the moment but it had lead some to believe the next Microsoft model will be released as early as 2020. Xbox streamed the briefing &#8211; skip to 1:00 for all the good stuff!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xBDsGjCpknw\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kingdom Hearts III<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A new trailer for <em>Kingdom Hearts III<\/em>, due for release on January 29, premiered at E3. There are a whole host of amazing characters within the game; including Wreck-It-Ralph and Frozen\u2019s Anna, Elsa and Olaf.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Sony<\/h3>\n<p>From feast to famine \u201d\u201c there were far fewer announcements on Sony\u2019s end but what was announced will still whet your appetite. They chose their E3 slot to offer a more in-depth look into what we already knew what happening.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/btmN-bWwv0A\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Last of Us Part II<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You could argue that <em>The Last of Us<\/em> gameplay trailer was the most exciting part of Sony\u2019s announcement \u201d\u201c and we would probably agree. The gameplay is almost 12 minutes long, opening with Ellie hanging out with her girlfriend at a party before a brutal shift to Ellie on a bit of a killing spree. It looks like it\u2019ll be an amazing game!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kSAvzeopPC8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ghost of Tsushima<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Battling through a war-torn Japan has never looked so beautiful. <em>Ghost of Tsushima<\/em> doesn\u2019t have a release date just yet, but it\u2019s being developed by Sucker Punch, the studio behind <em>Infamous<\/em>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rP3UngLFou4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Death Stranding<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hideo Kojima\u2019s <em>Death Stranding<\/em>\u2019s trailer showed the actual game for the first time. It\u2019s not for the faint hearted.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/a-lEnz5QKuM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Resident Evil 2 Remaster<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We do have a release date for this one! Alongside the trailer, Sony announced <em>Resident Evil 2<\/em> will be available in January and it\u2019s coming to Xbox One and PC too.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_Sn5x1aLrUY\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>That\u2019s not all\u201d\u00a6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sony also announced A PSVR game called <em>D\u00c3\u00a9racin\u00c3\u00a9<\/em>, showcased a more in-depth look to <em>Spider-Man<\/em> which is being released in just three short months and had their own <em>Kingdom Hearts III<\/em> trailer with <em>Pirates of the Caribbean<\/em> characters.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Nintendo<\/h3>\n<p>If you\u2019re a Nintendo fan, there is so much to look forward to from what we\u2019ve learnt at E3. We think this first game might just interest you\u201d\u00a6<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EXnbMp1yr1k\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Ultimate<\/em> it is. This game will have every character ever in any Smash Bros. game as well as some new ones. That amounts to more than 60 possible fighters! It\u2019ll also be compatible with GameCube controllers as that truly is the only way to play it. <em>Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em> is out in December.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Dk56OpKuFts\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fortnite on Switch<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The world\u2019s biggest game has gone to the next level! <em>Fortnite<\/em> was available to download on the same day as the E3 conference. Hollow Knight is also available to download on Switch now.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/oAuNwjd4O-4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Super Mario Party<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Super Mario Party<\/em> is coming to Switch in October, allowing for cross-system gaming and Joy-Con controls in minigames.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9jRtpMKLsts\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>New Pokemon games!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Pokemon: Let\u2019s Go Pikachu<\/em> and <em>Pokemon: Let\u2019s Go Eevee<\/em> are coming to Switch on November 16. An additional accessory, Poke Ball Plus, will be used as a game controller too.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rkux5h0PeXo\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>And the rest\u201d\u00a6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Fire Emblem: Three Houses<\/em> is coming in Spring 2019, <em>Killer Queen Black<\/em> and <em>Overcooked 2<\/em> are coming to Switch, <em>Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion<\/em> is now available and <em>Xenoblade Chronicles 2<\/em> is getting an expansion on September 14.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>No matter what your console of choice is, there are plenty of amazing games to look forward to! <a href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/entertainment\/trade-in-games\/\">Trade in your old games<\/a> to musicMagpie for quick cash.
