They\u2019re all essential buys, so the only question is how will you pay for them all? We\u2019d suggest <a title=\"trading games\" href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/entertainment\/trade-in-games\/\">trading games<\/a>\u00a0(you can see <a title=\"The Top 5 Most Traded Games This Week\" href=\"http:\/\/192.168.3.178\/2014\/07\/04\/the-top-5-most-traded-games-this-week\/\">what other games people are selling in this blog post<\/a>)&#8230;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>The Sims 4 (September 4th)<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kAh9NXJg5ZU\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nLove controlling the lives of little people? Then we\u2019ve got great news: <em>The Sims 4<\/em> promises to be the best installment yet. It has improved emotions and an improved build feature, as well as all the core features fans of the series have come to know and love.<\/p>\n<p>Well, almost all of them. EA, the makers of <em>The Sims<\/em>, have caused a bit of a fuss by removing pools and toddlers from the game. We\u2019re not entirely sure why this is an issue, but feel free to let us know in the comments.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Destiny (September 9th)<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JvIZUrB92fI\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nThe long, long awaited game from Bungie (the studio responsible for Halo) looks majorly impressive. It\u2019s been described as an MMOFPS, which roughly translates to \u201d\u02dc<em>World of Warcraft<\/em> meets <em>Halo<\/em>\u2019, and sees players desperately fighting to save humanity from a hostile alien threat (is there any other kind?)<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, Bungie have suggested that some events in the game will be completely out of their control, making Destiny the world\u2019s first self-aware game (and possibly Skynet \u201d\u201c you have been warned).<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Forza Horizon 2 (30th September)<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AX7r61fyltc\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nThe latest entry into the <em>Forza Motorsport<\/em> series lets players loose in Southern Europe, allowing them to explore (and race in) France and Italy in a range of ludicrously powerful cars.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve always fancied tearing around Tuscany in a Lamborghini, this game will be a must-have.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Alien: Isolation (7th October)<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7y1yqUXIiGo\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nGood games based off the <em>Alien<\/em> franchise are few and far between (<em>Alien Trilogy<\/em> being one of the exceptions), but Isolation looks fantastic. Taking inspiration from the 1st movie, <em>Isolation<\/em> puts you in the abandoned ship Nostromo with only a blood-thirsty alien and a rubbish radar for company.<\/p>\n<p>Expect a sharp increase in underpants sales when <em>Isolation<\/em> is released in October.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Battlefield Hardline (21st October)<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ex1GlZS-t7c\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<em>Hardline<\/em> is a bit of left turn for the Battlefield series, putting players in the respective shoes of a SWAT team and criminals instead of the world\u2019s armies. It\u2019s basically an ultra-violent version of Cops and Robbers.<\/p>\n<p>The new focus on the \u201d\u02dcWar on Crime\u2019 means plenty of new game modes too, including Heist \u201d\u201c where players have to either commit or stop a robbery \u201d\u201c and Hotwire Mode, where cops have to chase criminals across massive landscapes.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re bored of <em>Call of Duty<\/em>, this could be a much-needed breath of fresh air.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>The Evil Within (24th October)<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MMKhoHl9BnE\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<em>The Evil Within<\/em> is a good old fashioned survival horror game, taking its inspiration from the likes of <em>Silent Hill<\/em> and <em>Resident Evil<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>And inspiration isn\u2019t all it shares with <em>Resident Evil<\/em>; the game is directed by Shinji Mikami, who was responsible for the 1st <em>Resident Evil<\/em>. Needless to say, it looks excellent.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Far Cry 4 (20th November)<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/04z45SOAH5k\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<em>Far Cry 4<\/em> doesn\u2019t look too different to <em>Far Cry 3<\/em> gameplay-wise, which is great news as 3 was one of the best games of recent times.<\/p>\n<p>The main difference is the plot, which sees a poor chap named Ajay caught up in a civil war and fighting for survival using anything he can get his hands on.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s also a cool feature where players can invite friends who don\u2019t own the game to join them in co-op and try it out for themselves.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Super Smash Bros (late 2014)<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eTqaAs86xmU\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nNintendo characters beat each other up for no reason at all. Do we need to say anything else?<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Batman: Arkham Knight (Early 2015)<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IBgpv0MPZ_E\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nThe final entry into the <em>Arkham<\/em> series promises to be the best yet, with Batman taking to the streets of Gotham to kick seven bells out of pretty much every villain you can think of.<\/p>\n<p>Not that we\u2019ll actually get to the end of the game. <em>Arkham Knight<\/em> will finally let us drive the Batmobile and we don\u2019t plan on ever leaving the wheel.<\/p>\n<p>If you do though, you\u2019ll experience the same award-winning gameplay that made the previous <em>Arkham<\/em> games so fun to play.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain \u00a0(early 2015)<\/h4>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LSXQMC3mQBw\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nAfter reassuring us that this year\u2019s <em>Ground Zeroes<\/em> was just a starter, Konami are almost ready to serve the main course <em>The Phantom Pain<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>All of the gameplay elements present in <em>Ground Zeroes<\/em> will feature in the <em>The Phantom Pain<\/em>, as will the twist-riddled cinematic plots we\u2019ve come to expect from the series.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, David Hayter, who voiced Snake from <em>MGS 1-4<\/em>, won\u2019t be along for the ride as he\u2019s been replaced by Hollywood star Kiefer \u201d\u02dcJack Bauer\u2019 Sutherland.<\/p>\n<p>What games are you looking forward to?
