Jackson secured the rights to the Tolkien\u2019s work in 1997 with <em>The Fellowship of the Ring<\/em> being released four years later. The film featured an all-star cast including Christopher Lee, Sir Ian McKellen, Liv Tyler and Elijah Wood. The film is set in Middle Earth and follows hobbit Frodo as he embarks on a quest to destroy the all-powerful One Ring. K. Rowling\u2019s wizarding creation Harry Potter is one of the best-selling book series of all-time and the movies are no different! The second instalment of the <em>Harry Potter<\/em> series,<em> The Chamber of Secrets<\/em> is just one of the films to feature in this list. Harry is back with his muggle family the Dursleys for summer when he meets a house-elf named Dobby. Dobby tries to warn Harry against going back to Hogwarts, but Harry ignores this request and when he\u2019s back at school, strange things start happening. Released in November 2002, <em>The Chamber of Secrets<\/em> brought in\u00a0\u00a3665 million at the box office.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Y_nSwh2WjAM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">13) Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Box office: approx. \u00a3671 million<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The third instalment of the <em>Ice Age<\/em> trilogy is the highest-grossing in the series. <em>Dawn of the Dinosaurs<\/em> was released in 2009, three years after <em>The Meltdown<\/em>. Ellie and Manny, the wolly mammoths, are expecting their first baby, sending Manny into a panic to have everything perfect before the little one arrives. Sid the ground sloth decides he should start his own family, adopting three eggs he believes are abandoned that hatch into baby Tyrannosaurus Rexs. It lands Sid in trouble and the herd have to rescue him. Both Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst reprise their roles as Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson respectively, and when we meet the two in this film, things are going better than ever for them. It\u2019s Harry\u2019s fourth year at Hogwarts, and with the Tri-Wizard tournament now open, Harry\u2019s a bit too young to compete. But the Goblet of Fire reads out his name and it cannot be undone. The Quidditch World Cup takes place and Voldemort\u2019s Death Eaters are gaining strength \u201d\u201c bad news for our hero Harry. <em>The Goblet of Fire<\/em> was a record breaker; it was the highest-grossing film of 2005 and at the time, the eighth highest-grossing film of all-time. Shrek did so when <em>Shrek 2<\/em> came out, we flocked in droves on see it. Following on from Shrek\u2019s rescue of Princess Fiona, they travel to Far, Far Away to meet her parents. Things turn sour when the King learns Shrek is an ogre and Prince Charming sets his sights on marrying Fiona himself.
