Peter Donnelly worked as a consultant psychiatrist in the NHS for 18 years with experi-ence in all aspects of medical education from selection into medical school, undergraduate teaching delivery and curriculum development. He has also worked as an Associate Medical Director responsible for the ongoing CPD of all medical staff in an NHS Trust. In his Deanery role he leads a range of medical education initiatives and is responsible for the quality of training across all specialty curricula. He has a BA is sociology, a masters in medical education and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators.
