CL is a versatile vocalist, performer, and songwriter. Exploding onto the K-pop scene at the age of 17, she was the leader of one of the best-selling and highest charting groups in Billboard Top 200's history, 2NE1. With her solo single 'Lifted' in 2016, CL became the first Korean female solo artist to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 and performed her solo music at the closing ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. Breaking the stereotype of female K-pop artists, CL aims to use her platform to speak authentically, inspire, and empower future artists to push past barriers.
