What is climate and how can climate change affect our lives? From floods and droughts to the spread of malaria, food shortage and sea-level rises, Climate Change looks at what scientists have discovered in the last fifty years and the different arguments about the future. It asks whether changes in climate are a result of human activities or if they are the result of a natural long-term cycle.

Opposing viewpoints are given throughout to provide opportunities for discussion and debate.

Simon Scoones is a writer and researcher on environmental issues and education. He has travelled widely across six continents and has taught in international schools in Singapore and Antwerp. He is now the Development Education Manager for Worldaware, a London-based educational organization.
