Matthew Glass remains anonymous - though many have speculated that he
might be an insider who cannot reveal his true name. The critically
acclaimed Ultimatum, his first novel, was published by Atlantic Books in 2009. He is believed to live somewhere in the UK.

Sweeping... compellingly plausible, it reminds me of Eugene Burdick's great Cold War thriller fail safe, which also thought the unthinkable
