A high-minded, intelligent album exploring complex themes, 'First Born' was the debut album from American hip-hop duo Eyedea & Abilities, released in 2001. The atmospheric beats and turntablism of DJ Abilities worked beautifully with Eyedea's philosophical flows. As such, it became one of the 'indie-rap' scene's crowning jewels at the start of the Noughties.
