A Vietnam veteran who received a bronze star for heroism in battle, he resides with his wife in Tidewater, Virginia. Timothy J. Kutta, a former Marine officer, is currently a freelance writer specializing in military affairs. The author of three books and scores of articles in national publications, he resides in Jacksonville, Florida.
