After having played together in numerous constellations in the past, Scandinavians Geir Age Johansen, Frederik Sahlander and Bernt Moen finally decided to record a long overdue trio album together. The studio session was scheduled in February 2019 and the recording completed in just one day; with no set repertoire or arrangements, everything was decided on the spot, resulting in a recording that has a unique sense of spontaneity and playfulness. Choosing some of their personal favourite composition by Joe Henderson, J.J. Johnson, John Coltrane, Bill Evens and Miles Davis, the album is almost entirely made up of well-known composition by the afore mentioned jazz giants, the one exception being the last track 'When All Is Said And Done', an original composition by the trio's pianist Bern Moen.
