Rhonda Carrier settled in London in the mid–1990s, after studying languages and literature at Cambridge and the Sorbonne in Paris. For many years she worked as a writer and editor for leading London guides and listings magazines, as well as publishing award–winning short fiction. She currently lives mainly in Manchester, where her husband, the writer Conrad Williams, lectures in creative writing.
