Lorna starts school - Emilie Dufresne

Lorna is starting a new school today. She is feeling very nervous and is worried that people will be mean to her because she is different. Lorna finds it hard at first but with the help of her basketball skills and Mark, Lorna soon begins to fit in.

Emilie Dufresne is a writer whose talents range from experimental and innovative poetry to comics and children's books. She is interested in testing the limits of genres and forms in her works and on the crossing of genres, focussing particularly in the similarities between poetry and comics.
