Magenta's best friends are going to be performing in the Battle of the Bands - but they haven't asked her to join! OK, so she's tone deaf, but that shouldn't be a barrier for the truly talented.

And Magenta needs to be centre stage to catch the attention of this year's hottest talent, Spyros Evangelides. If only she didn't have two left feet, she could become a disco diva and show ex-boyfriend Daniel what he's missing ...

Here's what you say about us...

Echo Freer was born and brought up in Yorkshire. After training to be a teacher, she moved to London, where she taught Special Needs in one of London's social priority areas. When her son was diagnosed as severely dyslexic, she completed a specialist training course to teach and diagnose specific learning difficulties. She now assesses and teaches under-achieving children. She lives in London.

A lively and fast-paced story ... Readers will enjoy the humour and complexities of the plot, the range of characters and will identify with the assertive and ingenious heroine. A fun read.
