Beardfish - Destined Solitaire

Sweden is still one of the most innovative spots for new and talented musicians and bands. One successful example of this is the band Beard fish created by prog rock mastermind Rikard Sjvblom. Beard fish's sound can be described as 70's Progressive Rock (Gentle Giant, Early Yes, and King Crimson) meets the unique musical craftsmanship of a band with many innovative and yet sometimes bizarre compositions and ideas. With the band's popularity on the rise, Dream Theater drummer and mastermind Mike Portnoy has asked Beard fish to be part of the 2009 incarnation of the Progressive Nation Tour with fellow InsideOut Music band Pain of Salvation. The initial pressing of the album will be in a lavish digipack.
