My panda sweater - Baum

A quirky kid donates her beloved panda sweater, and through this act of sacrifice gains a new friend. With whimsical, contemporary artwork, this story balances the topic of selflessness with humor and heart, while also offering an opportunity to talk about bullying, sharing and self-confidence.

Barroux grew up in North Africa, studied in France and has worked as an art director in Paris and New York. He has illustrated many children's books, including Dotty Spotty Doodles and Zig Zag Zebra. After studying mathematics, Gilles Baum became a schoolteacher and developed a passion for children's literature. He has collaborated on several picture books with author/illustrator Thierry Dedieu, and has also worked with illustrators Barroux and Rmi Saillard.
