The answer to the question 'why would you sing in English?' is pretty self-evident: it is rock and pop music's de facto lingua franca. But, as far as singing in Italian goes, the answer is a foregone conclusion - the language is literally melancholy made into music, and the theory definitely holds up when Alex Rossi is concerned. Italy genuinely runs through the Veneto native's veins: it's only natural, then, that Rossi chose to sing in his native tongue.
