Stage struck - Jean Ure

In these stories about Stevie Silver and her life at stage school, she auditions for a part in a Christmas Show, gets the chance to be in a television advert, and, with the help of her Starlight Stage School friends, helps to save the local cat sanctuary.

Started writing books when very young. First book published while at school. Been at it ever since. Have large family of animals, all rescued.

Some favourite books when I was a child and still favourites today: WINNIE THE POOH; LITTLE WOMEN; JUST WILLIAM; CATCHER IN THE RYE; I CAPTURE THE CASTLE.

Favourite music: almost anything by Bach.

Favourite movies: THE BIG LEBOWSKI
