This album was written, arranged, and recorded by The Steel Wheels in isolation from one another during the early months of the Covid-19 pandemic. Each song was commissioned by a fan for a specific person or event, as part of a project the band launched called 'Distance Together.' The heroes of these songs are real people, like you and me. There are songs to celebrate hard work, to commemorate loved ones who have died, and to honor the beauty of love and family.
