Description

Documentary examining the immediate aftermath of the collapse of New York's World Trade Centre on September 11th 2001. The programme focuses on the stories of those who rushed to Ground Zero to try and rescue the people buried by the collapse of the buildings. After the few survivors had been pulled from the rubble, the many ordinary New Yorkers who volunteered on the rescue operation faced the grimmer task of extracting those killed in the attacks.
