Description

Documentary examining the role played by the New York Fire Department on September 11th 2001 and their recovery from the events. When the attacks on the World Trade Centre began, New York's fire-fighters rushed into the buildings to aid the evacuation of those inside and to fight the fires. Tragically, when the buildings collapsed hundreds of fire-fighters perished. This documentary examines the bravery of the men and women who died trying to save others and follows the recovery process of the Fire Department as it tries to deal with the loss of so many lives.
