Philadelphian guitarist/composer/educator/poet Monnette Sudler recorded this, her debut album, in 1977 in New York. It showcases her as a dynamic and versatile performer. By that time she had completed her studies at Berklee College of Music, later attending Temple University to further her education. She has performed with Kenny Barron, Hamiet Bluiett, Arthur Blythe, Sonny Fortune, Freddie Hubbard, Hugh Masakela, Archie Shepp, Cedar Walton, to mention a few.
Monnette Sudler is the founder and artistic director of the Philadelphia Guitar Summit.
