Kurt Cobain was the frontman for Nirvana, angst-ridden American grunge rockers who exploded onto the popular music scene in 1991 with the 'Nevermind' album (1989's 'Bleach' had failed to chart on either side of the Atlantic). The band's many fans were subsequently shocked when on April 4th 1994 Cobain ended his life with a shotgun. This documentary chronicles the life and career of the man who tapped into the discontent of America's youth, and features various musical tributes and previously unseen footage.
