The author's observation from travelling ministerially to 25 countries has been that sometimes Christians dabble in areas that they do not understand. The Spirit World is one of these areas although the Bible gives more than an adequate description of the operation of spirits, both good and evil. Families have been torn apart by practices called deliverance which are not Scriptural and people have been labelled as demon possessed when they are not. In an attempt to bring light on the subject of deliverance the author has investigated the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation with regard to the Spirit World, good and evil, and then in light of this produced guidelines for dealing with deliverance and bringing freedom to the captive. This ranges from correctly identifying the problem, preparation for bringing release, confronting the spirits and aftercare. Other related issues discussed are The Holy Spirit, Satan and his kingdom, curses (their effects and how to get release) and subtle infiltrations of the evil spirit world into modern society. Events from real life situations are also given as examples throughout the book. The language is plain and so the book is easy to read and does not require any prior knowledge of the subject. Permission to use the guidelines in teaching sessions within church or Bible School settings is available from the author.
