The second edition of Traumatic Dental Injuries: A Manual builds on the phenomenal success of the first edition, which was published in 1999. The book has been updated to reflect advances in the treatment of dental trauma, especially with regard to the urgency of acute treatment. Professor Jens O Andreasen is based at the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, University Hospital, Copenhagen. He is recognized as being at the forefront of dental traumatology. Dr. Frances Andreasen is a freelance researcher, lecturer and consultant on dental trauma.
