Devoid of cultural and societal references, they help us explore the multiple layers of human nature unadorned and in the raw. Each simple five-minute story truly illuminates many complicated human frailties and darkly complex secrets. They are extremely entertaining and highly intriguing but, if viewed on another level, deeply thoughtful and profoundly philosophical. There are no actual geographical locations or real historical periods mentioned and no character is identified by their race, politics, religion or colour. This allows any reader of any age from any community in any culture to examine each tale and arrive at their own conclusions without prejudice.
