Eric Harland - Vipassana

In 2014, Grammy award winning drummer Eric Harland released his first studio album 'Vipassana', a creative and fresh combination of familiar modern jazz, hip hop, R&B, and even somewhat psychedelic rock. Aside from the original track listing, this 2 LP 180 gram vinyl will contain two bonus tracks - an alternate take of 'Eminence' (in 7/4 of course) and 'Stars'. 'Stars' features Chris Turner and James Francies, and is an extension of the hip hop inspired tracks featured on 'Vipassana'. Eric's Voyager band is a who's who of modern jazz vanguards, including Taylor Eigsti, Harish Raghavan, Nir Felder, Julian Lage, Walter Smith III, and Chris Turner.
