French documentary makers Jules and Gedeon Naudet were in New York City filming a documentary about a single fireman in the city some days before the terrorist attack. Subsequent events left them poised to make this timely documentary about the pivotal role of the firemen in the atttempts to rescue those trapped inside and outside the collapsing World Trade Center towers.
