John Schroeder has been heavily involved in the music industry all his life – from the 60s to the 80s he was employed by major record companies as a Label Manager, Producer and Songwriter and has produced no less than 170 artists including Helen Shapiro, Status Quo and Cliff Richard. His roller coaster love affair with music is amusingly and authentically documented in his 2009 book, Sex and Violins: My Affair with Life, Love and Music (Pen Press).
