Robin Graham-Brown graduated in medicine from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, University of London, UK. His postgraduate training in general medicine and dermatology was also in London, at the Queen Mary's University Hospital and at the Royal Free. He was appointed consultant dermatologist in Leicester in 1983, and subsequently became honorary senior lecturer in the University department.
