If Only - No Bed of Roses

If Only formed in 1988 and are driven by guitarist and talented songwriter Greg Hart. The band are fronted by singer Jackie Bodimead who had built up a solid reputation as a member of both Girlschool and Rock Goddess, her voice lending the material a world class sheen that quickly attracted industry attention. Nearing completion of their debut album, Jackie left the band and was replaced by Tina Egan, however the musical times had changed by then, with the likes of Nirvana forging a rough and raw sound, leaving the melodic delicacies of If Only stranded.
