10 minutes till bedtime - Peggy Rathmann

At 1 Hoppin Place it's time for the bedtime routine to begin. When a family of hamsters arrives at the front door the Hamsters' 10 Minute Bedtime Tour also begins. Endless hamster tourists arrive ready to follow our hero as he enjoys his bedtime snack, brushes his teeth, reads a story, etc. There's a mad scramble to finish the tour and get to bed before time runs out. The story is told through detailed, hilarious pictures that will give hours of entertainment.

Peggy Rathmann was born in Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minesota with a BA in psychology. She then studied commercial art at the American Academy in Chicago and later, fine art and children's book writing and illustration. In 1991 she won the Most Promising New Author Award and in 1996 she was awarded the Caldicott Medal for OFFICER BUCKLE AND GLORIA. Peggy now lives and works in San Francisco.
