Arvee returns from a round-the-world-trip with Mo and her family, to discover that his mouse friends are once again in trouble.

The shrew police have taken charge of life in the garden of Paradise Villa and are making things unbearable for Ellie and her family and their community of mice. Not only do they have to abide by strict rules and regulations, but there's a more immediate danger - Stinky, a cobra with severe halitosis!

Arvee puts his mind to outwitting the shrews, but soon discovers a problem closer to home: Cutie Pie. Unknown to Arvee, Mo has decided that Arvee needs some company. But unfortunately for both Arvee and the wig-wearing, mascara-dripping, stiletto-booted Cutie, it is not love at first sight . . .

Manjula Padma, whose full name is Manjula Padmanabhan, was born in Delhi in 1953. She is a writer and artist who has written many adult books and two for children, which she also illustrated. She is the creator of 'Suki', a daily comic strip, for the Pioneer newspaper in New Delhi.
