The Newcomer Bible is designed to replace the GNB 043PH Seekers which was first published with the GNB relaunch in 1994.
This edition is aimed at the new believer who may be using a Bible for the first time and has sections of all new notes and helps to guide the reader on their spiritual journey. Also included are maps of the Bible lands as well as a brief dictionary of Bible words and a reading plan all set around the Old and New Testaments of the Bible.
The GNB was first published in 1976 jointly by HarperCollins and the Foreign Bible Society. Since then it has sold over 40 million copies world-wide. The GNB was revised in 1994 and is one of the most widely used editions in churches and schools all over the UK.
